WHO I AM
I'm an accomplished professional drummer, university-trained music educator, former Buddhist monk, and a Psychology coach with a wide variety of international touring, and studio recording experiences in all kinds of drumming styles including Jazz, Hip Hop, Acid Jazz, Punk, Rock, Blast Beats, Country, Blues, Americana, and Funk, with a dedicated focus on Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, African, Reggae, and Ska rhythms.

I love teaching because connecting with my students and watching them overcome challenges as they develop the ability to express themselves musically is a really meaningful experience for us both. I like seeing them become stronger as they develop self-confidence and creative courage. Music is my life-long passion. I love learning and have repeatedly seen that cultivating the creative and artistic sensibilities involved in mastering an instrument is an invaluable experience that positively affects all aspects of a student's life.
